Mazes (Jack Cooper on vocals and guitar, Neil Robinson on drums, Jarin Tabata on guitar and Conan Roberts on bass) have just released their debut album ‘A Thousand Heys’ to critical acclaim in the UK, and are eager to tour these tracks across Europe. Playlisted at BBC Radio and heavily supported by the likes of NME, Q, Mojo and Uncut, Mazes exit the UK with a hope to wow the rest of the world with the music that UK taste-makers have so openly accepted as an early contender for album of the year. Compared to bands like Pavement, Guided By Voices, Silver Jews and more, Mazes are the first to admit that they are influenced by the music they listened to when growing up, and their DIY ethic and approach to recording only compliments their lo-fi slacker tag they seem to have been given. An impressive live outfit, they have recently toured the UK with Dum Dum Girls, and played other shows with Vivian Girls, Best Coast, Crocodiles, and are lined up to play Summer festivals such as Latitude, Bestival and Midi.
